Christian Campbell, MTLS poet, wins the 2010 Aldeburgh First Collection Prize for Running the Dusk (Peepal Tree Press, 2010). UK’s Poetry Trust describes the Prize as “one of the most important and established poetry awards in the UK.” Campbell was also short-listed for the prestigious Forward Poetry Prize for the Best First Book in the UK. Often referred to as the “Bardic Booker”, this is UK’s most valuable annual poetry competition as well as the only major awards that honour both established and emerging poets.
